SUU Gynastics

The SUU Gymnastics team is amazing. These girls bust their butt's. The season always starts at in January just as the spring semester starts up. Most everyone in the school attends. The meets consist of The vault, beam, uneven bars, and the floor. This is a must attend while living in Cedar City.

The Sheep Tunnels

A must do in Cedar City

The sheep tunnel, is a tunnel that is about 7 feet tall and about 8-10 feet wide and around 3/4 of a mile long. This concrete tunnel goes underneath the town of cedar city and is filled with graffiti. They are located across the street north of wallchart.

1. Take at least one good flashlight
2. I'm not going to tell you to take spray paint to graffiti because it is technically illegal, but this one is on you.

SUU Gynastics Open Gym Night

You heard it here first!!

The SUU gymnastics team will be holding an open gym night Saturday April 21st at 6 PM. Admitions will be $5, proceeds will go towards helping our flip'in birds get sweet new outfits! Like this one.
Come learn from our very own stars. you wont regret it.

Glow Stick Golf - 2000 Flushes

Also known as, "Man Made Shooting Stars."  Go to 2000 Flushes, because the large cliffs work well to hit the ball off of and it is very dark out there. This works best when there is little to no mood out. If there is a moon I suggest to drive down into 2000 Flushes and there will be less light down there and you can see the glowing balls better.

1. Put as many golf balls as you are willing to loose in a big bucket. (If you do not own any I suggest going to a pawn shop [Cedar Post Pawn Shop 221 North 100 West] last time I was there they had used golf balls for sale)
‎
2. Break several glow sticks open and poor all of  liquid stuff inside the bucket. (wait till you are out there, because the glow stuff does not last very long)
3. Use your golf club to stir the golf balls and the glow stick stuff together.
4. Find a nice place next to the edge of 2000 flushes and take a swing.

They fall for a really long time and the glowing stuff on them leaves a trail and it looks like a shooting star.

Date Idea - BAKE SALE

100% credit goes to Mikey Tagliaferri

1. Ask someone on a date (Great for group dates)
2. Take them to your house to bake (cookies cup cakes brownies - you pick)
3. Go out on the town (Wallmart, the library, anywhere with people)
4. Sell your wonderful baked goods
5. Make it a competition between the dates to see who can make the most money
6. Use only your money you made from selling your goodies and go out to eat. (So you have a little incentive to be a good sales person)

Date Idea - Team Shirts

Our group of about 14 decided to use a Disney theme. We each made shirts about disney and then played Disney seen it.

So go to Wallmart, buy shirts in the pack, they are cheap.
Buy a sharpie pack with lots of colors.
Make sure to put somthing between the 2 layers of the shirt.

Slack-Lining

Slack-lining is a blast! This is very simular to tight rope walking.

Tips:
1. Look down line (not at your feet)
2. Put your arms out
3. Bend your knees a little.
4. Bare feet is easier

This is important, you need a strong rope or straps to wrap around the tree, then hook your strap to the rope o strap on the tree.

Use the rachet to tighten the strap pretty much as tight as you can get it.

I like to use a 2 inch strap.

(you can go to a hardwear store and buy a tie down it will be much cheaper)
